Today was very event-filled as always. We went on an excursion in Oxford with our history class that included a visit to the Ashmolean Museum where we saw a sword that belonged to Henry VIII, scepters that were made for Elizabeth's visit to Oxford, and more antiquities like them! We also visited Christ's Church and Christ's College where we stepped foot into many a Harry Potter scene---dining halls and corridors were involved! I am exhausted at the moment so I really can't think of anything terribly exciting to say but the group also went to the Tavern where Bill Clinton allegedly smoked a blunt and walked in Queen Elizabeth I's footsteps during her trip at Oxford----that's a mix for you, isn't it! Afterwards, Cathy, Katie, Matt, and I just hung around and went into a cool old map store, hung out in starbucks, tried on some clothes, and just sort of did nothing together which was really fun! It will be interesting to see what we do tomorrow with our four hours of free time after class before our really nice dinner! Anyway, because I am exhausted and I feel like this post isn't making sense, I'm just going to upload 100000 pictures!
Love to all,
E.
